Established in 1996 within a building that has been part of the Aspen community for more than 130 years, it is the longest-operating small business in the City of Aspen and offers an intimate, highly curated lodging experience.

The Residence Hotel features seven uniquely designed suites with a total of 11 bedrooms. Each suite differs in size, layout, and character; no two suites are identical. The hotel has multiple sets of connecting rooms up to 3 bedrooms.

To support guests staying in downtown Aspen, the hotel provides complimentary City of Aspen Residential Parking passes, allowing for free parking in designated residential zones located approximately 2–3 blocks from the hotel. The hotel’s central, walkable location makes it easy to explore Aspen without a car.
For added convenience, there is a loading and unloading zone directly in front of the hotel for easy arrival and departure.

- Winter reservations: A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking and is non-refundable. The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to arrival and is also non-refundable.
- Holiday reservations: A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking and is non-refundable. The remaining balance is due 90 days prior to arrival and is non-refundable.
- All other reservations: A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking and is non-refundable. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to arrival, and reservations become non-refundable within 30 days of arrival.
